Frequently Asked Question
How do I cancel my appointment?
If for whatever reason you change your mind and would like to cancel your appointment – you should do so by contacting us at least 24 hours prior your appointment is due. If you shall cancel your appointment in under 24 hours prior to your appointment time, you will loose your booking deposit and that will not be refunded to you.
What if I am running late for my appointment?
If you should see you will be running late for your appointment with us, please be so kind and let us know as soon as you can by telephoning us on 089 4836841. You should know, however, that it is your appointment time that is lost, therefore, the results might not be as satisfactory as desired and we shall not take any responsibility for it. Please note, if you are running late for over 30 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled and you will loose your deposit.
Why do I need to pay a Booking Fee?
In order to reserve your treatment times, a booking deposit is required. Once the booking fee is paid, your treatment is reserved for you and the value of the deposit will be deducted from the final payment for the treatment on the day. However, if you cancel or request to change your appointment in less than 24 hours prior to your appointment time – you will loose the booking fee you made while booking your treatment.
Why do I need to get a patch test? What is that?
We advise getting patch tested for the treatments we do here at Ritzy Eyes 48-24 hours prior your appointment. A patch test is done to make sure you will not react to the products we use during your treatment. If you do react to the patch test – the treatment you desire to receive is not suitable for you and you should contact us to let us know we should cancel your appointment.
Am I suitable for an eyelash extensions treatment?
Most people are suitable for eyelash extensions treatment once they have had their patch test done and no reaction to it. However, even with no reaction to a patch test procedure, there are certain contraindications for eye treatments, when the procedure can not be performed: inflamed or swollen eye area, infectious eye disorders such as conjunctivitis, blepharitis etc., stys, redness and puffiness to the eye area, cuts, bruises, abrasions or recent scars to the eye area, moles, warts, contact lenses, hypersensitive skin, cold sores, dry eye syndrome, undergoing cancer treatment, if you are on a HRT – if you have any of these conditions, you are not a suitable candidate for an eyelash extensions procedure.
